Archive: Another Sweet Story (8/4/24)

I have another sweet story to share about the amazing community assisting in the search to find Emily.

I received this email the weekend after Emily’s disappearance, and asked if it was alright for me to share.

“Also, I want to tell you that I and the large group of family & friends who had been camping on the Hungry Horse Reservoir (some since last weekend) until late last night have all been searching and praying for Emily.

That includes my 9-year-old grandson and his best friend who were camping with us. The boys were talking about “Miss Emily” all weekend, wondering if she’d been found, and keeping their eyes peeled on the water and land.

The kids saw the divers and the helicopters, spoke to search and rescue, etc. They talked to strangers at the grocery store last night when we stopped between the HH Reservoir and Whitefish asking folks if they knew that Emily is missing and to tell them to look for her.

My grandson made a point of stopping people to look at the poster he saw on the entry door.  .”
