Emily's mom Nina met one of the wonderful campground hosts and her son within her first two days in Montana. Like so many in this amazing community, this woman had already helped significantly in the search efforts.
She offered Nina a communication boosting device to see if they could get better cell phone service. They chose a local shopping plaza as a convenient meet-up spot to pass off the device.
When they arrived, Nina greeted the host and her son, whom Nina had already shared a few sweet moments with (the moments one can only share with a kiddo). Nina noticed that the campground host was holding a bouquet of carnations, and her son was holding a potted red kalanchoe plant. Both were offered to Nina.
Later, the campground host was chatting with Nina, and mentioned to her that her son had specifically asked to buy those plants. When she asked her son why both plants were red, he replied: “Because Emily’s mama loves her.”
Here is a photo of Emily’s mom, Nina, with this sweet child and his mother (shared with mother’s consent).
